Amazing! These images are absolutely works of art.
There is no other way to describe the creative work of the 21 year old, Canadian make up artist. Katie Alves has transformed scenes from some of our favorite childhood films into elaborate eye makeup. She first picked up her makeup brush back in October 2010 to paint a small design on her lips, but her artistry has blossomed and gained her a huge following.

Secret Fact: I'm a bit of a bookworm.
Since my Summer began I have been demolishing books at an alarming rate. My friends and I decided to create a little book club and on our list was "Something Borrowed"; of course we had to see the movie after.
After a thorough comparison, we decided the movie was pretty good at living up to our take on the book.

May Vogue 2011
I'm currently reading 'Water for Elephants' and I can't stop turning the pages. I'm obsessed with the book and even more obsessed with how stunning Reese Witherspoon looks amidst the Elephants & circus animals under the big top.
I was impressed with the last book-to-movie [Something Borrowed] I saw and I'm crossing my fingers that this one will do the same.
